O'Berges du Moulin, restaurant in La Wantzenau
A warm welcome in a simple, idyllic setting on the bank of the Muehlgiessen.

Within the walls of the old sawmill
“O'Berges du Moulin” is housed in the former sawmill on the bank of the Muehlgiessen, an arm of the Ill that once powered the La Wantzenau mill.
The project came to life through the drive and energy of Sébastien Werlé, a long-standing cook at the Moulin, and Philippe Clauss, owner and chef of the Restaurant au Moulin. The atmosphere is warm and uncluttered, with the dining room opening onto the river.
The terrace, shaded by the centuries-old alder, is the perfect idyllic setting in which to enjoy the authentic flavours of Provençal-inspired cuisine.

« The food was just acceptable. It was not mind blowing and neither was it the worst thing ever. I got the gambas, and it lacked something, it was a bit dry. The dessert, cheesecake, was fine but I didn’t taste any cheese. overall it was fine but nothing special and kinda bland. Wouldn’t want to eat here again. And the service was slow, but that I can understand because the restaurant was packed. Maybe they need to hire an extra waitress. »
« One of the best meals we’ve ever had in France, great atmosphere, lovely staff, definitely worth a visit! »
